Wine Cerreto
Our production per hectarea is approximately 7,000/7,500 Kg. Harvesting takes place when phenolic maturity of the grapes allows it, reducing astringency and the green and vegetal notes in the wine, typical of the Sangiovese, which is our primary vintage. Grapes are collected by hand and transported immediately to the cellar near the vineyards. Here, they are plucked, crushed and transferred to the fermentation casks by means of modern equipment that, working gently, guarantees preservation of the aroma and minimum formation of lees in the finished wine.
